How to Generate an openAI Key and activate AI features in your Reachy app?
This article guides you through creating your first OpenAI key to activate AI features in Reachy.ai. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to integrate powerful AI capabilities, follow these simple steps to set up your OpenAI API key and unlock advanced features in Reachy.ai.
STEP 1 - Go to https://platform.openai.com and Create your OpenAI account by signing up
STEP2 - Click on "START BUILDING" at the top right of the screen
STEP3 - Fill out Your Organization name & Click "Create Organization"
STEP4 - Skip Team members creation
STEP5 - Give a Key &Project Name and then click "Generate API Key"
STEP6 - Click "Copy"
STEP7 - Launch Reachy app and go to the Configuration panel
STEP8 - Scroll down and click "Edit OpenAI Key"
STEP9 - Paste your OpenAI API secret key and click "Update key"
STEP10 - Go Back to OpenAI page and set $5 Credits (enough to use the OpenAI Key in Reachy) and the click "Purchase credits" (Mandatory to activate your key)
STEP11 - Fill out your Bank Cards details and click "Add a Payment method"
STEP12 - Go to "Dashboard" at the top right
STEP13 - Go to "Usage" section in the left side bar
STEP14 - Edit the budget on the right
STEP15 - Click on "Edit budget"
STEP16 - Set the monthly budget to $2 and click "Save"
